Contingency Statement

Magellan Firm operates on a contingency-fee basis. This means:

No upfront cost. You do not pay anything to begin the recovery process.
No recovery, no fee. If we are unable to recover the surplus funds owed to you, you owe Magellan Firm nothing.
Our fee is a percentage of what we recover. The exact percentage is stated in your service agreement and is the only compensation we receive. There are no hidden fees, filing fees you owe us, or back-end charges.
Our fee is deducted from the recovered amount. You will never receive a bill from Magellan Firm. The county disburses the funds, and our portion comes off the top before the remainder is sent to you.
You can walk away. If at any point you decide you'd rather file the claim yourself or use another service, you may cancel the agreement at no cost, provided the claim has not yet been filed with the county on your behalf.
